Dan Melchior's Broke Revue To Release First Album in Over Ten Years

After a ten year hiatus, bluesy-experimental-garage rock master Dan Melchior is back with a new album,  Lords of the Manor, out August 28th on one of our all time favorite labels, In The Red.

In The Red says: Lords of the Manor is an entirely different beast [from his earlier albums]; song structure and instrumentation are stripped to the bare bones, and melody is ditched in favor of repetition. Dan's usual lyrical style is jettisoned for a far more minimal approach and the band's previous penchant for tightly-crafted two-to-three-minute rock songs has given way to long, sprawling improvisations. The result is dark, relentless and incredible.

The first 200 LPs will be released on green vinyl. Although the release date is set for August 28th it appears to be available now from In The Red here.
